Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water treatment process that removes contaminants from water using pressure to force water molecules through a semipermeable membrane. During this process, dissolved inorganic contaminants (such as salts) are filtered out and flushed away. Reverse Osmosis is an effective means of filtering and purifying industrial process water, power generation boiler feed water, municipal drinking water, and car wash spot-free rinse water.
